Don’t feel like dropping close to $1000 on a smartphone? Samsung has your back with its new portfolio of Galaxy phones starting at just $110. Announced today for the US, the Galaxy A Series will soon be available with blazing fast speeds, innovative cameras and advanced features—for much, much, less.

Building on the success of its pricey, premium Galaxy S21 Ultra (on sale now starting at just $680), which leads the pack in excellence with its super high resolution 6.8-inch AMOLED display and five cameras, Samsung is now turning its attention to the more populist mid-tier market with five different phones—three of which will even have 5G connectivity.

5G Smartphones for Less

The three smartphones in the Galaxy A Series 5G lineup are the Galaxy A52 5G, the Galaxy A42 5G and the lowest cost option, the A32 5G. Each one in this series includes both Fast Charging and Adaptive Power Saving for all-day battery life as well as expandable memory of up to 1TB.

So yeah, these phones are fast, but they also come loaded with high-end camera features perfect for social media, like 4K Video Snap, which pulls high resolution images straight from videos, built-in Snapchat filters dubbed “Fun Mode” and a Scene Optimizer with can automatically figure out what you’re shooting—then enhance its exposure contrast and color.

If you’re interested in staying in the top tier, the A52 5G is endowed with a huge 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and video gameplay, stereo speakers and four cameras with Optical Image Stabilization. It also happens to be waterproof for up to 30 minutes with a IP67 rating and comes with 6GB of RAM.

One step down will take you to the A42 5G with just 4GB of RAM and a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display while the lowest end A32 5G still comes 6.5-inch display, though it is simply HD+ LCD instead of AMOLED. It also comes with 4GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Simplified

Samsung created the A12  and A02s smartphones to help anyone step up to the Galaxy family. Are they super high end? Nope. But these phones will offer the basics with the style and innovation you expect from the Samsung brand. And though we haven’t had a chance to test them out, we are impressed with the level of features the Korean tech giant is offering for such a low price.

The A12 is the only phone available now for $180, though you’ll have to wait for April 8 to grab the A42 5G ($400), and April 9 for the A52 5G ($500) and A32 5G ($280) at Samsung. Unfortunately, the lowest priced A02s ($110) won’t be available until April 29.

In addition, all the Galaxy A Series smartphones come with a two-month trial of YouTube Premium and a six-month trial of SiriusXM Streaming radio.
