Virginia is one and done in the NCAA Tournament again.
The No. 4 seeded Cavaliers, the defending national championship from 2019, were upset 62-58 by No. 13 Ohio in the opening round of March Madness in the West Region on Saturday night.
It was Virginia’s first game since going on a COVID-19 pause after beating Syracuse in the ACC Tournament on March 11.
They will face Creighton next in the second round.
Virginia became the first No. 1 seed to lose to a No. 16 when UMBC beat them in the 2018 tournament.
